Who knows??!! The pace of scientific development is astounding, think of the developments in IT and electronics over the last 10-20 years 3D TV’s, Ipads etc would have been unthinkable 20 years ago! No-one really nows where we will be in 50 years time in terms of technology development and probably quite a lot of the technology we will have then will be unrecognisable to us now.
Science-fiction books are always an interesting read for other opinions or ideas on future technologies 🙂

I hope to live to see how far we can go with scientific advances! I think there is a lot we can accomplish. I think we are only at the beginning, but then maybe every generation of scientist thinks that.

It’s only limited by our curiosity, and society’s desire to continue to fund this sort of activity! Science ‘futurists’ seem to be fairly poor at anticipating the things that really will transform our lives until they have started happening.

I think that fundamentally, we will never know everything, so scientific development can go a long, long way. New areas of science come up all the time and it seems that the more questions we answer, the more new questions arise.
