      All over, but too often associated with work.. the perils of being a geologist. Favourites: Tenerife, southern Spain, Italy.

      A lot of my holidays are combined with work, so I’ve been to Canada, Mexico, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, almost all over the US, Thailand, Turkey, Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Australia. I’ve still not made it to South America or Africa yet.

      Lately I’ve mostly been to Ireland to see my in-laws. In the past I’ve back packed around India, Europe and China (not all at once!)

      I usually try to combine travel and work, for instance, I try to stay a bit longer when I go on an international conference or something. I’ve been to most of Europe, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, China, Japan and the US.
