      It never stops. With knowledge always comes more questions. I just did a study and I found some cool stuff but really it left me with more questions than answers. THAT’s what’s really engaging about science!

      Some people maybe like for things to just be solved and that’s that. But I do not work that way. I love to constantly question things and science is one vehicle for me to do that with.

      The unknown! There’s always more to learn, and to discover. As a field geologist, it’s a huge thrill to see something new that suddenly connects with things you might have seen before, but not previously understood. It’s a great feeling to see things falling into place, and to start thinking about the questions that lead on from that.

      Thinking about how things work and how different things influence each other. Also, finding out something new that makes you suddenly understand a process – those are magic moments!
