      In order to have very good vision at night, cats have given up certain ability that benefit them in the daytime, like seeing in colour. We don’t see well at night, but we have very good vision in colour and we see details quite well. The other thing that cats have gained by giving up the ability to see in colour is to see movement really well – to catch their prey!
