Depends on the drug. Some take only a few micrograms, some take several grams. Some people are sensitive to drugs that have no bad effects in many other people. These sensitive people can die when no one else does. There are many more factors that dictates how much drugs one can take before dying.
The safety testing of drugs (the legal, medical kind) is what I do to ensure patients don’t die and I can advise the doctors on what is a safe dose to give.

Depends on the drug and the person in question. Some drugs have a very low level at which they are toxic and some have a very high level at which they become toxic.

I remember Dr. Byron Jones at Penn State telling us, in our drugs in society class, that his studies with animals found that in order for THC (the substance in marijuana) to be toxic, you would need a lot of it. I think he’d said that his studies in rabbits had found that none of the rabbits died from the heavy dose they were given.
The main problem is that because marijuana is illegal, users never know what they are getting. Many cases in the USA show that it can be laced with PCP or other very harmful drugs. I’m sure the same happens here since there is no governing body to make sure the ‘label’ is correct!

it is impossible to die from majroana and all other canibis due to your bodys defences if you do take to much canibis you will have a “whitey” which is where your body shuts down to stop you from being able to take anymore! althow you can die from the actions taken when byou are intoxicated with canibis! (sorry about the spellings)

althow of course there are long term effects from smoking the drug it can lead to cancer and lower your life expectency

My colleague who is at Johns Hopkins said that it is one of the worst drugs in terms of brain damage that she has seen.
