  Generally decommissioning projects take many years and I am at the start of my career so not done any yet!
  They involve safely removing all waste and removing any hazard present at the facility and eventually complete removal of the facility so that teh land can be returned to the state it was before the nuclear facility was present. Basically a very well planned and complex deconstruction.
