Question: How long did it take to become a project manager at Sellafield Ltd ?

I joined on the graduate development scheme which you can enter straight from university. This was a 2 year training scheme and I now work as what is effectively a sub-project manager, with further experience there is a defined route to manage increasingly complex projects an it is a well managed system with opportunity for progression.
