• Question: how hot is the sun

      At its surface, it’s about 6000 degrees Celcius. I gave it to you in Celsius even though I only really understand Fahrenheit 😉

      The surface temperature of the sun is about 5800 K. This is just a little cooler than the Earth’s core. The centre of the sun is a thermonuclear reactor, and is likely to be a lot hotter.. perhaps 16 million K.
