Hi one23, It’s hard to say what the personalities are of these leaders or anyone else that I’ve not met. The important thing is that a person’s personality is quite stable across many situations. However, one cannot really know a person’s stable way of behaving or thinking from looking at only one area of their lives – politics.

When I am looking at a child’s way of behaving (to see if they feel remorse or whether they show emotions), I ask parents, who would know what the child is like in the home, and I ask teachers, who would know what the child is like at school/nursery. That way, I get a good picture of whether the child acts a certain way across the two main settings in which they live their lives. If there is some consistency, then we should be worried about the child. When they are old enough, then I ask the child too. That’s even better, because it gives me a way to look at them from three different perspectives.
