• Question: Do you think it will ever be possiable for us to visit another galaxy

      I really don’t think it is. I used to think so before I had read about astronomy, but now it seems impossible. It is very very far to the next closest galaxy! If I’m wrong, I want to be the first to go! 😉

      Not for our generation, unless some one works out how to travel at warp speeds (faster than the speed of light). The nearest galaxy is currently thought to be Canis Major, a dwarf galaxy which is 25,000 light years away. Even if you travelled at the speed of light, it would take 25,000 years to get there!
