      Yes, I am sure that they do – but I’m afraid I don’t have an explanation for why.

      Some do yes. The blood group of animals is named similar to ours (A, B, O etc) but they are different to our A, B O etc.

      Actually dogs can donate blood to other dogs (similar to humans) and their blood groups have to match too.
