      Theoretically, yes, there is a field in which liquid carbon can form; this won’t have the same structure as diamond, but does have the same composition. You can make liquid C if you take diamond or graphite up to a temperature of over 4500 K, and at a pressure of between about one thousand times atmospheric (1e8 Pa) to about one hundred thousand times atmospheric. These are not conditions which are currently found on Earth!
