Well, there are many theories that I am sceptical of – and many that I would want to think of a way of testing. Did life come from space, for example?

Of course! There are theories that I don’t agree with, such that I don’t think they are very plausible. As a scientist, however, I need to be sure that I can show that one theory explains a certain phenomenon better than another using evidence. I also have to be sure that I don’t let my personal opinion to influence my experiments, since I try to be an honest scientist 😉
